Описание

Here is Lacrimosa from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem in D Minor made using the Zelda64 soundfont and featuring the Bassoon and "Voice Oohs" from Mario 64.

Lacrimosa (latin for "tearful" or "mournful," oftentimes spelt with a "y") is the the final section in movement 3 of 4 of Requiem and the final piece of music Mozart composed. While Mozart had sketches and ideas for how he'd finish Requiem, he died on December 5th, 1791 having only written the first eight measures of the Lacrymosa in which the choir rises in chromatic scale, crescendoing to climax. After Mozart died, Franz Xaver Süssmayr (Süßmayr) completed the Lacrymosa as well as much of the unfinished parts of Requiem.

This is NOT my own transcription; the midi I used to make this is from kunstderfuge.com which already had instrument panning.

Shoutout to Samuel Ricke on musescore for his transcription of this piece which I used as a reference for verifying the midi I used was accurate - https://musescore.com/user/6725176/scores/2918781

For Good Friday and Black Saturday, RIP Pope Francis
