Описание

Phillip Sear plays a 1921 love song by the American pianist and composer Arthur Cleveland Morse (1885–1936) writing under the pseudonym 'Norman Leigh'.
--------------------------------------------------
Born in Massachusetts, Morse worked for the Boston publisher Walter Jacobs, writing pieces to be used for photoplay purposes (ie, background music for silent films). Before that, he was a salesman for Colonial Pianos in Boston. Morse wrote many pieces under the name 'Norman Leigh', but also used 'Norman Tellier'—these pseudonyms helped contemporary publishers give the illusion that they had more composers on their books than they actually had! This piece appears in a photoplay book of 'Tone-Poems and Reveries' intended 'for Scenes of Romance, Reverie, and Pathos'.

I have no idea if Jeanette was a real person.
