Janet and Lauren the Mortician got smacked down by the court and the Girlies won big on their motions to dismiss against the lawsuit Janet and Lauren the Mortician brought against them. Now, Janet and Lauren the Mortician are trying to get a "do over" by asking to amend their complaint AFTER the dismissals have been entered. It's crazy! Madcatster breaks it down!

Lauren the Mortician's attorney Jeanette Braun aka Janet has been accused of filing bogus copyright claims with YouTube, Tiktok and other social media sites on behalf of herself and her clients. When Janet was called out by the Do We Know Them podcast by Jessie Smiles and Lily Marston, Janet had a fit and filed a copyright strike against Jessica Vasquez and Lily Marston. YouTube determined the use of Janet's video clip by the Do We Know Them podcast was fair use. Janet wasn't happy and so she filed a lawsuit with the Copyright Claims Board suing Jessica Vasquez and Lily Marston for damages claiming they violated Janet's copyright on her content. The court has dismissed most of Lauren the Mortician and her attorney, Jeanette Braun, aka Janet's lawsuit against several content creators.

Lauren the Mortician and her attorney Jeanette Braun allegedly filed numerous false copyright claims and strikes against channels that use content from either Lauren the Mortician or her attorney Jeanette, even though YouTube has told Jeanette that the content is protected by Fair Use and is not a copyright infringement.
