Melvin Spix is back on Unrilis with a driving techno EP that fuses hypnotic grooves and dark atmosphere.

The release has flowing drum rhythms that tap into Melvin Spix history as a drummer. His upbeat and vigorous drum patterns form a framework for modulating synths that swell with tension as the tracks unfold.

This is Melvin Spix second time releasing on Unrilis, which is an Italian record label co-founded by the late Rino Cerrone. He has also released music on other prestigious record labels ranging from Markantonio's AnalyticTrail to Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains.

"Tera Corá" is the EP's title track, and it has rhythmic melody stabs and eerie vocal tones layered with punishing claps and a hammering kick drum. "Clockworks" has a menacing arpeggio submerged in spacious atmosphere, then "Saliña" closes the release with its rolling bassline and jackin' percussion.
